Mini-apps on Medall are a single place with all the resources you need to make running your programme a breeze — all with app notifications so your trainees will never miss an update again.

Build your own customisable mini-app for your Training Programme

  • Download the iOS/Android App

  • Invite your team and trainees

  • Add resources for your training programme - from induction information to rotations to weekly teaching

  • Share Exam information

  • Host your weekly teaching programme with live broadcasts and recordings

  • Start helpful discussions using threads

  • Powerful search to help your trainees find what they need fast

  • Unlimited document storage

  • Keep your team and trainees up to date with notifications straight to their phones

  • Coming soon: Group chat

Download the MedAll app

The easiest way to build and manage your mini-app on MedAll is with the app. You, your team and trainees can download the app for free from the Apple iOS or Android app store.

Invite your team and trainees

To give your team and trainees access to your training programmes's mini-app you will need to invite them to it.

You can do that by:

  • Adding their emails using the "invite" feature

  • Sharing the link with them and they can request to join your community on MedAll.

When you set up your mini-app, you can choose to make it public so the content you add is available to everyone, or private for your training programme only. You can also make specific resources available to everyone or just for your trainees.

Send notifications to your trainees

With the MedAll Apple iOS & Android app you can keep everyone in your training programme up to date with notifications straight to their phones. No more clunky email threads or messy WhatsApp conversations.

Notify your team about:

  • New teaching sessions

  • New guidelines

  • Rotations

  • Weekly teaching sessions

  • Helpful contacts

  • Exam information

  • Training Programme updates

And anything that is important to your programme. Your trainees will never miss an important update again.

Add training programme resources to your mini-app

The resources area of your mini-app on MedAll is a flexible and fully customisable area where you can easily store and share all the files, links and documents that are important to your training programme — from inductions to rotations to helpful contacts. You have unlimited file storage and can organise your resources flexibly into folders to suit your programme.

A few examples:

  • Rotations

  • Weekly teaching sessions

  • Helpful contacts

  • Guidelines

  • Exam information

When you add a file, document or link you can choose whether to make it public and available to anyone on MedAll or Private and just available to your trainees.

To help your trainees find the most important information you can use our handy Spotlight feature that allows you to add quick shortcuts to folders and files.

Start helpful discussions using Threads

Threads allows you to create your very own social community for your Training Programme. Threads can be open access or for your trainees and team only allowing you to communicate directly with your with.

Share ideas, collaborate, discuss topics, and ask the difficult questions that are important to your programme. No more messy chat groups!

Some great thread topics we’ve seen:

  • Opportunities for Paediatric Surgical Research in the USA: Who's Interested?

  • Who's Attending the European Society of Cardiology? Best sessions for trainees?

  • Looking for an Oncology Mentor: Any tips?

  • Who is going to regional teaching this week? Can we do a car-share?

  • Referral pathway: does anyone know how we refer to orthopaedics here?
