This article will outline how to use community administrative controls settings.

In this article we will cover:

  • Who can see threads created within your community

  • Who can create threads within your community


Who can see threads?

As an administrator of a MedAll Community you have the ability to control who can see threads within the communities you manage.

Individual visibility controls can be found in the create or edit thread dialogue, the options are:

Public
A thread can be visible to anyone on or off MedAll

Community Members
A thread is only visible to members of this community

Controlling the visibility settings:

Look for the on/off switch as you are creating or editing a thread:

If your community is set to [private] this option will be selected by default. You will still have the ability to toggle the setting on/off if you wish to make a one off thread public.

How to edit threads you have already created?

You can access the edit dialogue by using the more menu, found on the top right hand side of the thread card:


Who can create threads?

As an administrator of a MedAll Community you have the ability to control who can create threads within the communities you manage.

All MedAll users
Any MedAll users can create a thread


Verified MedAll users only
Only verified MedAll users can create a thread

Community Members only
Only members of this community can create a thread


Community Admins only
Only administrators of this community can create a thread

You can change these settings at any time, simply navigate to your community threads landing page and click the 'edit preferences' link to open the Administrative Controls dialogue.
