To add a link item to your communities resources area:

1️⃣ Start by navigating to the main resource page of your community using the navigation bar.

2️⃣ Make sure you are logged in, and have administrator privileges;

  • If this is your first resource click or tap the blue button under the text 'add your first community resource' to open the dialogue panel.

  • If your community already has resources you will see the 'add new item' tile in the top left hand side of the resource pages. Click or tap this tile to open the dialogue panel.

3️⃣ Select which type of resource you would like to create, for this article we are going to click or tap the title the 'link' option.

4️⃣ You will then have the following options;

  • Customise the items appearance - To do this, you can select from our library of icons using the drop-down menu.

  • Name this item - The name can be different to the value upload. We suggest trying to keep the name to roughly 35 to 40 characters long.

  • Add to - Use the add to drop-down to select any previously created folders within your resource area. Find out how to set up new folders, here.

  • Spotlight - You can promote this content within your community by adding it to the spotlight bar, simply turn the feature on using the off/on switch.

  • Link - copy the web address you wish to link to. Please note you need to use the full http:// or https:// as part of the web address (URL).

  • Tags - You have the option to add keywords to your resource item. This will help give context to your resource item as well as improving, how members and MedAll users can find your content (depending on the visibility settings).

  • Visibility settings - Choose between public, private or draft;

5️⃣ Save - click or tap 'add item' you will now see this new item in the resource area.
