So we often get asked about registration and verification for events. The platform is flexible with both

Why have registration on an event?

Well, there are a few reasons

  • Delegates expect to register on MedAll for an event. We regularly get messages saying a user cannot register as there is no registration button - it causes confusion as they think the event is not for them

  • Delegates will receive 3 emails: The first on is to confirm the registration and allows them to add the event to their calendar, the other two emails are reminders that go out 1day and 1hr before the event is due to start.

  • It helps you - the organiser - know how many to expect and if your advertising of the event is working

Verification on MedAll

So why have your delegates verify themselves?

The MedAll platform is for Healthcare students and professionals only. By opting for verified MedAll users, this offers you the organisers and teachers the comfort of knowing that there is a shared interest and knowledge in your delegates. We have various ways that a person can verify themselves and have 100,000's of users from across the globe verifying themselves.

For our Fair Medical Education scheme a delegate will need to be verified to access free conferences

Non verified users on MedAll

So, this opens your event up to anyone with an account on MedAll. Please note that this could be someone under 18 or a patient - if they choose to say they are a healthcare student or professional, we are unable to confirm this. Not being verified does limit the number of events that a user can attend as the verified option is most popular for events. We do have options within the event to change the restrictions of the 'chat' feature and if someone is being disruptive you can ban them from the event (this will remove them from your event - not the platform)

By choosing MedAll you are also choosing to introduce your delegates to an extensive array of training and resources, ultimately benefiting the future of healthcare..
