Creating an event, but not sure how to set up tickets? We're here to help πŸ™Œ

Every event needs tickets in order for delegates to register. This can be 1 ticket type, or multiple depending on the format of your event.

For example, if you're event is virtual, you'll just need 1 ticket type: online. If you're event is hybrid, you'll need 2 ticket types: online and in-person. If you're event has some free and some paid for tickets, you'll also need 2 types, or maybe 3 if you're offering an 'early bird' option aswell. The number of ticket types is up to you β€”Β but you will always need a minimum of 1.

When creating your tickets you'll have the option to provide a type, such as 'online', a title, such as 'Online Tickets', and a description such as 'For all virtual delegates'. You'll also need to specify how many of this ticket type you want to make available (we can host up to 10,000 delegates on MedAll Live, so there's no limitations on our side πŸš€).

If you're setting up paid tickets, check out this article, and if you'd like to offer free or reduced price tickets to colleagues in Low of Middle Income Countries, then check out our website to find out more about our mission.

For paid tickets please add any terms around the ticket purchase. eg what refund could be expected, when the last date for refunds would be. Also please remember if you are offering a full refund then there is admin fees for MedAll and Stripe to be taken out of this, regardless if the ticket is cancelled and refunded.

Once you've created your ticket, select finish, where you'll have the option to repeat those steps to create another ticket type, or if you only need 1, you can navigate to the next step of your event set up πŸ™Œ

Lastly, if you're not sure what ticket types you need right now, you can skip this step and come back to it later πŸ‘Œ
