Patient sharing is a quick and simple way to share reference documents with your patients.
What documents can be shared?
Any Patient Leaflet can be shared with a patient.
Certain community resources can be shared with a patient providing the document has this setting enabled (learn how to enabled patient sharing here).
How to share a document with your patient:
1️⃣ Step 1
Once you have choose the document you would like to share. Ask the patient to open their camera app or QR code scanning app.
2️⃣ Step 2
Ask the patient to point their camera at the patient sharing QR code and follow the on screen prompt to open the link. This will open the document in the patients default phone browser.
You may wish advice the patient to bookmark the page in order to return to the document in the future.
Open access – Patients do not need a MedAll account to view a document.
What to view the document before sharing?
Simply click or tap the 'Open patient view' button below the QR code to view the document before sharing.
