We would always recommend a quick tech test with your speaker. This can be 15mins beforehand on the main stage if you are running a short webinar or creating a tech test session in the breakout sessions if you are running a half/full day conference.
By checking that your speaker can share and knows the platform, you are just putting them at rest before their talk.
A couple of things to look out for:
Google Chrome - this is a must for MedAll. If your speaker is on Safari, there is the potential that there will be audio issues
Laptop - Please do not use a phone/tablet as you won't be able to screenshare.
Firewalls - If your speaker is joining from a hospital - there could be a firewall preventing them 'joining stage'. If this happens we suggest they either hotspot their phone (using 4g and not hospital wifi) or joining on their phone and emailing you their slides for you to share.
