We appreciate you, our speakers on the MedAll platform. Your contributions are essential to the advancement of global healthcare. We want to make sure that our platform is a valuable resource for you. So we are continually making improvements and hopefully making the platform a better, more sociable and more attractive place for learning

If you are asked to speak at an event, then here is a great article for you. This article will help you to understand our platform a little better.

Regardless of whether you are speaking in person or online, you will want the organisation to send you a speaker invite. This will open up all the additional features on MedAll for you as a speaker.

Please note, you will need an account on MedAll

πŸ‘‰ Teaching certificates

You will receive a certificate stating your talk topic and signed by the organisation, this is a great addition to your portfolio

πŸ‘‰ Automatic tagging on the event

You will also be automatically tagged on the event and this will be listed on your speaker profile. Your speaker profile can be used to; encourage more to come along to the live event to hear your talk and share your teaching catch up with others after the event

What is a Speaker Profile??

Your speaker profile is a public page on MedAll that lists all of the events you have spoken at. When you are added as a speaker for an event, your profile will be updated to include the event details. Your profile is a brief description of your background, experience, and expertise. When you are tagged (invited to speak and invite accepted) at an event (Webinar or Conference) a delegate can click on your profile to 'see' a bit more about you, so to ensure your profile is up-to-date, here is a simple 'how to'

Editing your profile

πŸ”΅ Just log into MedAll and click on the icon on the far right > Edit profile

πŸ”΅ Now you can add a photo, edit your bio, and add your specialisms etc

πŸ”΅ Further down the page you will see the events that you are speaking at or have spoken at (but only if you are listed on the event as a speaker ie you have accepted your speaker invite)

πŸ”΅ Any videos that you are added to as a speaker, will be added further down your profile page like this πŸ‘‡

πŸ”΅ What you can now do is share your profile page with your colleagues, students or on socials so that others can either attend the upcoming event you are on or watch a talk that has been shared.
