Creating a hybrid event gives your delegates the maximum opportunities to be a part of your teaching. Using MedAll Live gives all your delegates the opportunity to attend and receive catch up after.

Below are some helpful hints and tips

  • DON'T FORGET THE VIRTUAL AUDIENCE

  • Start the meeting on time. This is especially important for remote attendees, who may be juggling other commitments. If you need to delay the start of the meeting, be sure to let everyone know as soon as possible.

  • Enable the chat function. This will give remote attendees a way to ask questions and participate in the discussion. Be sure to check the chat regularly and respond to questions as they come in. - Alternate questions between in person and virtual - start with virtual

  • Give equal focus to all attendees. It's important to make sure that both in-person and remote attendees feel like they are part of the conversation. This means calling on people from both groups to speak, and making sure that everyone's questions are answered.

  • Provide strong facilitation. The chair is responsible for keeping the meeting on track and ensuring that everyone has a chance to participate. This means being organised, clear, and concise.

  • Microphone Etiquette. Tell the in person audience to use Mic otherwise virtual audience will not hear questions from the floor. Questions asked off mic, need to be repeated On mic for the virtual audience to hear

  • Microphone Etiquette. In person speakers must always use Mic, no wandering around as this will effect the audio
