It's that time of year again where committees and presidents change over. If you're an outgoing President, or have current ownership of the Organisation's MedAll account, you'll need to transfer ownership to the new committee. This will ensure all of your events, statistics and hard work is passed on. Plus, it's really easy to do 👇

1️⃣ Login to your MedAll organisation and scroll down to Membership, as shown below:

2️⃣ Select Membership and navigate to the far right of the page to Invite new members

3️⃣ Enter the email of the new committee member, president or person you would like to hand over to. Select Administrator role type to give them full access to the Organisation's account:

Tip: Organisation members fall into one of three categories: Owners, Administrators and Members. Owners have access to all of the administrative functionality in the organisational portal and all of the data associated with their organisation. Administrators have the same access to functionality and data as owners, but they can be unverified MedAll users. Members, do not have access to any of the functionality of the organisational portal or visibility of organisational data. The main reason for inviting these members is to give them access to your catch-up material on MedAll.

4️⃣ Once you've entered their emails, the new committee member(s) will receive an email inviting them to join the organisation. They will need to accept the email invite. Once they have done that they will appear on your organisation page as an administrator, as shown below:

5️⃣ You can hover over each user's role and change their status. To make another the new committee member an owner, select Owner from the dropdown.

Tip: We recommend downgrading prior committee members as promptly as possible. As the new owner, the new committee member can change the status of the previous committee members from administrator/owners back to members, or delete them. You cannot delete owners but if their status is changed back to "member" then you can remove them from the organisation. NOTE: this will result in this individual not being able to catch up on any content you have made available to members-only.

And then you should be all set up! If you would like to book a demo to learn more about all our organisational features please contact the team at [email protected] — we'd love to help 🙌
